Parents and students planning to attend PVHS next year are strongly encouraged to attend this open house-style event to talk with high school teachers, learn about courses, activities and athletics options at PVHS. HAC Scholarship Application
AMOUNT: Ten scholarships in the amount of $1,000.00 each will be awarded.
ELIGIBILITY: Applicants must be a graduating high school senior who has attended an Adams/Weld County School District 27J high school, i.e., Brighton High School, Brighton Heritage Academy, Prairie View High School, or Eagle Ridge Academy, for at least three consecutive semesters.
PURPOSE: To help seniors graduating in the 2011-2012 school year in need of assistance financing their educational goals and show promise of making contributions to the Hispanic community of School District 27-J.
CRITERIA FOR APPLICATION:
- Any graduating senior in good standing.
- Any senior who is planning to attend a two- or four-year college/university or technical/trade school after graduating from high school.
- Five of the ten scholarships will require the student to major in education.
- A senior who has a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
